Max Russo, age 32, was arrested after crashing into an unmarked police cruiser and trying to run away on Hinston Road in Weymouth on Friday afternoon, Jan. 6, Weymouth Police report.
A search of Russo's home uncovered more than 800 grams of pressed methamphetamine pills, 250 grams of cocaine, 200 grams of Fentanyl, crack cocaine and other diverted prescription pills.
Officers also seized more than $60,000 in cash and a rifle caliber pistol with no serial numbers. All items totaled approximately $100,000 in value, police said.
Russo was charged with the following offenses:
- Trafficking a class B drug (Methamphetamines) over 200 grams
- Trafficking a class B drug (Cocaine) over 200 grams
- Trafficking a class A drug (Fentanyl) over 200 grams
- Trafficking a class A drug (Fentanyl pressed as Percocet) over 36 grams
- Possession of a firearm with prior violent/drug crime
- Unlicensed possession of a firearm
- Possession with intent to distribute a class B drug, subsequent offense
- 3 counts of possession with intent to distribute a class E drug, subsequent offense
- Failure to stop for the police
- Resisting arrest
- Other motor vehicle violations
Russo was arraigned in Quincy District Court on Monday, police said. He remains in custody awaiting a dangerousness hearing on Friday.
